WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY PRICEChoosing the right wedding photographer is not so different to choosing the right venue, dress and rings. The wrong choice can have a huge impact on your day. Ensure you do your research and get a good understanding of what your options are. I have written an article on how to choose the right wedding photographer which you can read Here. (If you would like to  ) Once you have found the perfect photographer who will meet your individual needs and style, you must make sure of exactly what you’re getting. Always ask your wedding photographer whether their price includes things like: A pre shoot, bridal party preparations, the reception, group photos and family photos. One area that wedding photographers can catch you out is by charging once for the shoot and then charging again for the prints you would like. It is very important to know exactly what you’re getting from your photographer before committing to anything.

To save any confusion, I have decided to be completely transparent with my fees and tell you exactly what my service includes.

My fee is £790 for the entire day. This is generally from the bridesmaids preparing in the morning, right up to the first dance. Upon request I am very happy to stay for longer into the evening to capture the drunken wedding frivolity! Your shoot will include: The bridesmaids or groomsmen getting ready in the morning, the entire ceremony, personalised bridal photographs with the bridal party, the reception, speeches and cutting of the cake. Group shots are also included but I advise that you let me know in advance to ensure I can make the most of it with specialised equipment. Throughout the day I will be shooting constantly to capture those little spontaneous moments that only happen on the most magical of days. Your price includes travel within 25 miles of York. I’m certainly happy to travel further and the fuel costs will be determined by your location.

What will you receive from me? And when?

I supply all images on a disk or USB stick within 2 weeks of your wedding day. With the nature of digital photography, I will take a LOT of photographs. You can expect between 500-1000 professionally edited images.

Optional Extras

One thing that is increasing in popularity lately is pre-wedding shoots or engagement shoots. Yes I am happy to offer these services to you at an add on price of £200. It’s a great opportunity to get creative and show your unique style. Maybe you’re a punk rocker and want a grungy punk theme.. or a beautifully shot, romantic shoot in the location he proposed? It’s your vision, I just make it happen.
